Ferric chloride solution is an inorganic coagulant widely used in waste water treatment and potabilisation. It is also used as a sludge conditioner before the filtering process.

Applications
It can be applied directly or diluted to 10% using a pump made of corrosion resistant material. It is suggested to mix it with high turbulence for better mixing.
